ShareThis button and WP templates

Hi,

I use a custom template for my site and had installed the ShareThis plugin, added the code, etc and the button wouldn't show.
I searched all over for a solution and finally came across a post exactly like mine.
It turns out that I did not have the code <?php wp_head(); ?> in my header.
So I went ahead and added the code to the header. It made the ShareThis button appear but then all the sIFR3 text I had on the pages disappeared.
So I removed the header tag for now until I figure out if there is any other way around it or even placement differences that can fix the issue.
Anybody??

We've noticed that you now have functioning ShareThis buttons on your site.

Are you still having issues? Do you need us to keep digging?
