   My site: http://intricateart.com

   I've upgraded to WP 2.6.2, using ShareThis plugin V2.3. I've manually inserted the plugin function into single posts throughout my site, the blog category template and on the main index template pulling in my blog.

   Prior to upgrade, I could share on FaceBook and it would pull the correct site title, post title, image and excerpt. Now all it's pulling is the domain (intricateart.com) and the URL of the item shared. I haven't tried it on other social sites since FB is my primary tool.

   I'm not sure what to do to test the script, so any help would be appreciated.

   I've seen some talk about WordPress Mobile conflicting with ShareThis, so I've disabled the plugin. Still having the problem.

   It is still not working, though sharing does work on FB using other sharing plugins, so obviously it is not a problem with FB pulling the information. ShareThis isn't sending it.

   Anyone?

   I've just deactivated all plugins but ShareThis to see if there was a plugin conflict and got the same result.

   Okay, well, it's been 5 days - ShareThis support, do you have any idea why FaceBook is not able to pull data from my site? I've found a lot of other sites with the same problem, and sure - it may be their problem, but there is NO tech support to be found on FaceBook at all.

   Is it a feed problem? JavaScript? What might cause this?

   Hello,

   We're not sure of Facebook's mechanics on how they spider the site for the image, and cannot support it. I sympathize with your frustration.

   I actually found FB's developer forum, and was told they actually blacklist sites - so since I just switched hosting, I'm guessing (hoping) that it's just a matter of being whitelisted. If anyone else has this trouble, contact me and I'll give you the information to actually get in touch with someone at Facebook.
