Error msg when testing ShareThis! button on Web site

    Good morning hopefully-helpful ShareThis experts :),

    I've used ShareThis w/success on Wordpress blogs, but I'm having issues adding it to a corporate site (which uses Javascript/HTML/CSS... all typical stuff). In IE6, IE7 and Firefox, I get something along the lines of "problems with this page might prevent it from being displayed properly..." and then in the box below "error: permission denied."

    Also, in Firefox, the error appears to occur when attempting to get the value of location.url (as reported by the browser’s JavaScript debugger).

    Any thoughts?

    The error is occurring on local testing pages so I can't share the link.

    Hello,

    The error you're seeing is most likely caused by your local development setup. Calls inbound from the ShareThis server may be getting blocked causing the permission denied issues.
